Hypnosis is a state of relaxation and a focused state of concentration also known as trance helping you to become inwardly focused on the solutions to any issues and goals. It is a naturally occurring state that we drift in and out of in our everyday lives. Like daydreaming, you are in control, at all times, in this “trance” state. When you are engrossed in a movie or still sitting at the traffic lights even though the lights have changed, you are in a trance.

Hypnosis is a relaxing experience that you are completely in control of, and you can choose to be in that trance state or not at any point YOU ARE IN CONTROL, how deep you want to go into that relaxing state is up to you but what I would say is you have got to want that change to happen, or it simply wont as I said your the one in control.
